Author name: The Resourceful English Teacher

My name is Paula Rosana Asad and I have been an English Language teacher for more than 20 years. I have taught little kids, teenagers and adults but at the moment I am teaching teenagers. However, I love working with all types of students. Each stage in life has something special and unique. When it comes to the methodology I use in my classes I can tell you that I am a huge fan of Project Based Learning for so many reasons. First of all, it is student centered as learners are the protagonists of their own learning process. It allows students to make their own choices with the teacher's guide and support. Moreover, you can easily connect content and skills from other subject areas to PBL. Learners feel extremely motivated because projects activate their curiosity and drive them to inquire. When students work with projects they learn to collaborate, cooperate, and cope with challenging situations like agreeing on a certain topic and respecting each other's point of view. I hope you will find in my store lots of projects ideas and inspiration.
